Capturing the moment!
I just realized that once I get hooked on someone’s blog, I want to read it till there are no more posts to read. My latest obsession has been Valerie Jardin’s blog, who also writes for DPS’s photography blog that I follow. This particular post talks about being ready to capture the moment. It doesn’t matter what camera you have, or what lens you have – the best camera is the one in your hand! It reminded me of the photo below which I took in Siena, Italy. I was waiting for the race to begin in the hot summer afternoon, or maybe it was morning when I came upon this scene. This photo is not going to win me any awards, but I love the fun element of the subjects – the apparent friendship between the bird (perched on top) and the dog.
